Clare Matthews – Artist Profile

I have been creating art for over a decade and have always been drawn to colour, texture and a strong composition.  I work in handmade collage, paint and other media to create lively, vibrant artworks.  I use repeating motifs, shapes and patterns, sometimes incorporating a subtle narrative within my work while embracing an ongoing love of colour, texture and the occasional element of quirkiness.
